Spread the word: launch event for the 2026 PHS Employment Monitor on 15 June
please register and spread the word
Dear colleagues, dear friends,
I would like to invite you to the launch event of the EU-financed 2026 PHS Employment Monitor on 15 June at 13.30 – 15.30.
So far more than 120 persons who have registered for the launch event. Please share the invitation below with your contacts, networks and colleagues so that we make this the biggest possible online meeting on the care economy.
Now in its second edition, the Monitor collected more than 8500 responses from homecare and domestic workers, users, user-employers and organisations from all EU countries. The Monitor is the most comprehensive study of homecare and domestic work, exploring working conditions, undeclared work, health and safety, migration issues, and the needs of users and employers.
There will be simultaneous interpretation in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.

The findings of the 2024 Monitor have been used by numerous EU agencies and institutions, the OECD as well as national governments. Building on this success, the 2026 Monitor aims to build the most comprehensive data set on the homecare and domestic work on the European continent.
The launch event will provide an opportunity to come together and to explore the findings and discuss the future of employment and working conditions in the sector.
We would kindly encourage you to:
Register for the webinar and join this important discussion.
Share and forward this invitation with colleagues and networks who may be interested in the future of the PHS sector.
Invite us to present the findings of the 2026 PHS Employment Monitor at your own meetings, events, or discussions, so that the evidence can help inform dialogue and policymaking across Europe.
The agenda will follow in the coming days.
Best wishes,
Mark Bergfeld
